Cattle

Some information for our existing and potential clients

• We believe the most important traits are fertility and structure.
• Our cattle are raised in a grass fed low input environment and put substantial weight gains on with minimal or no supplement feed. 
• We have outcross sires to the few popular sire lines used extensively in the Angus breed at the moment.
• Bulls are guaranteed, any bull found to be infertile or breaks down due to reasons other than injury or disease will be replaced on presentation of veterinary certificate of same within 12 months of date of purchase. 
• All our cattle are vaccinated with 7in1. 
• Bulls are semen tested and PI tested.
• Bulls transferred to the new owner. 

Market Opportunities

Did you know that your heifer calves by Richmond Hill HBR bulls could qualify for live export programs, bringing good money at a young age. They are used for breeding and best of all you could have feed to spare as they are bought just after weaning at low weights. It could be worth contacting your local export agent for more information and other the requirements. Our cattle are herd book registered with the Angus Society Of Australia and are able to be traced back generations. We believe it is extremely important when making breeding decisions to have full traceability.

Sheep

We sell rams via appointment on property, agents are welcome. Sometimes we have ewes or ewe lambs available. Please contact us for more information.

Southdown rams are ideal for joining with ewe lambs of wool breeds. They are easy lambing, grow into meaty lambs that don't mind a check and don't draw on there mother like some other breeds do.

We are brucellosis accredited and our sheep are johne's vaccinated.
